Israeli settlers intensify attacks in Sheikh Jarrah

Jerusalem24 – The settlers escalated their attacks against the citizens and their property, and yesterday, they stormed the shrine and invaded the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in the occupied city of Jerusalem

In the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of occupied Jerusalem, hundreds of settlers stormed the shrine of “Shimon al-Siddiq”, amid the tightening of military measures by the occupation forces in the neighborhood.

Local sources said that hundreds of settlers, under the strict protection of the occupation forces, stormed the area, and played loud music and sounds in the vicinity of the place, while the occupation forces prevented the residents of the neighborhood from leaving and entering it.

They added that the occupation police continued to close the neighborhood’s entrances to the citizens, and spread in the streets to secure the settlers’ celebrations, and also set up a tent for its members and another for the settlers’ celebrations, amid restrictions on the movement of residents and residents.

eyewitnesses confirmed that the occupation police had placed iron barriers along one of the main streets in the neighborhood, which they designated for the movement of settlers.

Sources also indicated that residents’ vehicles need a permit to exit and enter the neighborhood, while settlers’ buses and vehicles roam around freely.

For her part, Jerusalemite Noha Attia said, “The occupation police set up a tent at the door of her house… We have no freedom even inside our house.”

On the other hand, the occupation forces abused three young men in the occupied city of Jerusalem and arrested one of them.
Local sources said that a large number of Israeli soldiers attacked the three young men as they were passing through Salah El-Din Street in the center of the city, after provoking them.
