The Prisoner’s movement to start escalating steps in support of the striking prisoners

Jerusalem24 – The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission said that the prisoners’ movement in the Israeli prisons, with all its factions, decided to start escalating steps, in light of the unprecedented Israeli attack on the prisoners, which the allege amounts to “war crimes.”
The commission explained, in a press statement, that these steps come in support of the striking prisoners and the prisoners of the “Islamic Jihad”, who are subject to systematic punishments, such as isolation, and torture. This began to happen after 6 Palestinian prisoners escaped from the high-security facility of Gilboa prison.
The commission pointed out that “the occupation authorities practice a system of arbitrary procedures and laws to take revenge on the prisoners, and that there is a green light from the prison administration to deal with them as they see fit.”
The Commission called on all local and international bodies and organizations, especially the International Committee of the Red Cross, to intervene immediately to visit the isolated and strikers and stop their exclusivity, work hard to provide them with protection, and continue official and popular pressure to keep this just cause the focus of the world’s attention.
