United Arab List: If our demands are not addressed, we will not hesitate to go to the polls

Jerusalem24 – Walid Taha, a member of the Israeli Knesset for the United Arab List, said that if the list’s demands, including those related to serving the Arab community, are not dealt with, his party will not hesitate to go to the polls.

In an interview with the Israeli channel, Reshet Kan, Taha indicated that his party entered the government coalition to promote issues of interest to the Arab community and to be an influential partner.

Taha expressed his dissatisfaction with the Israeli government’s handling of murders in the Arab community, stressing the need to intensify campaigns aimed at collecting weapons, saying, “I am afraid that my sons and daughters will be victims of these crimes.”

Regarding the cancellation of the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett to Umm al-Fahm yesterday, Friday, he said that the timing was not correct, although the aim was to encourage receiving the vaccine, but it coincided with the events of October 2000, and therefore its timing was wrong in light of our revival of this anniversary.
