Jerusalem24 – Saturday evening, Israeli forces closed Al-Shuhada Street in the Old City in the center of Hebron.
The Palestinian official news agency reported that a girl left her house to throw garbage in the place designated for her, and while crossing Al-Shuhada Street in the area in which she lives, she was surprised by a number of settlers, left the garbage bag in the street and ran away to the house from the heavily armed settlers. The settlers called the Israeli forces, who closed it. The street, which is under complete Israeli control, was off limit to Palestinians from crossing with their vehicles, and they also detained citizens for an hour and prevented them from reaching their homes, claiming that a suspicious object was found in the street.
It is noteworthy that the old city of Hebron is constantly subjected to attacks by settlers and the Israeli army, with the aim of evacuating the area from the population, to reinforce the settlement incursion.
