Widespread Israeli military campaign around Bethlehem

The Israeli forces also obstructed school students on their way to school.

Jerusalem24 – Since dawn today, many sites in the Bethlehem governorate have witnessed violent incursions by the Israeli military forces, which included attacks on and widespread abuse of citizens.

Local sources and eyewitnesses said that this morning, an Israeli military force surrounded the school complex in the town of Taqwa, East of Bethlehem, and the Israeli soldiers obstructed the students while they were on their way to their classrooms, which led to the delay of many of them in reaching school.

Clashes erupted in the area with the Israeli forces, which fired tear gas inside the school in a massive manner, causing nausea to a number of students.

These attacks have been ongoing against the citizens of the town of Tuqu’ since all hours of the night and dawn, as the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town late at night, during which a young man and his mother were detained for two hours before releasing them.

This morning, a military force stormed the Al-Arouj and Al-Zawahra areas adjacent to the town, and the soldiers raided a number of shops in search of surveillance camera recordings, without knowing the reasons for that.

At dawn, an Israeli military force stormed the town of Hindaza, East of Bethlehem, and raided and searched a number of houses and arrested the young man Bader Muhammad.

The town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, was also raided and two young men were arrested, Muhammad Abdul Jamil Taqatqa and Anas Abu Al-Asal Taqatqa, as well as the young Nidal Mahmoud Shoman, from the village of Husan, to the West of Bethlehem, after it stormed the village in the hours of dawn.
