Israeli forces demolish a house in Al-Walaja and bulldozes lands in Kisan
Jerusalem24 – Today, Wednesday, the Israeli military forces demolished a house in the village of Al-Walajah, northwest of Bethlehem.
The head of the Al Walaja village council, Khader Al-Araj, stated that the Israeli forces demolished a house located in the Ain Gweizeh area owned by Ahmed Nasr Abu Al-Tin, under the pretext of not having a permit.
It is noteworthy that the Ain Gweizeh area is subjected settlement expansion, represented by the demolition of citizens’ homes and other notifications to stop constructions, razing of lands, and demolition of walls.
Ibrahim Ghazal, a member of Kisan Village Council, stated that the Israeli forces began razing lands belonging to the Obayat family in the village, in order to carry out infrastructure works and construct a settlement road for the benefit of the “Abu Nahal” settlement on the citizens’ lands.
He pointed out that the village of Kisan is subjected to repeated attacks by the Israeli authorities and its settlers, represented by the seizure of its lands and the persecution of livestock farmers and restrictions on them.
