New measures by the Israeli army on the Gaza border

The condition of the wounded soldier deteriorating

Jerusalem24 – Yesterday evening, the Israeli newspaper, Yedioth Ahronoth, revealed new steps that the Israeli army will take on the Gaza border, following the events that occurred the day before yesterday.

According to the Israeli newspaper, in the coming days, the army will modify the barrier at the borders of the Gaza Strip, and advanced methods will be added to neutralize and reduce losses to soldiers.

It is noteworthy that the borders of the Gaza Strip witnessed, the day before yesterday, a state of extreme tension after a number of angry youths headed towards the separation fence, while the army fired at them, causing dozens of injuries among Palestinians.

On the other hand, Israeli channel 13 revealed, yesterday evening, exciting details about the incident of seriously wounding an Israeli soldier on the Gaza Strip border.
The channel said, “The shooter at the Israeli soldier on the Gaza border fired 3 bullets, one of which hit the soldier’s head at point blank.”

Channel 13 explained, according to the Israeli army’s investigations, that the shooter hid the weapon in his clothes and pulled it out seconds before the shooting, so he was not noticed by the army forces.

The channel added, “the investigations showed that the incident of attempting to kidnap the soldier’s weapon took place in a hole close to the other hatch from which the wounded soldier was fired (i.e. two different incidents).”

And their report continued, “in the first incident, the soldier grabbed his pistol and shot the Palestinian who tried to snatch his weapon and neutralized him.”

The channel indicated that the Gaza Division was not prepared for such a scenario, and was expecting “Hamas” to prevent the demonstrators from approaching the border fence.
She pointed out that “Hamas” has deployed about 70 armed men with phosphorous jackets; To prevent protesters from approaching the border fence.

According to the investigations, the lessons learned from the incident are the use of more complex means in the face of any future confrontations, the minimization of any risks against the IDF forces, and the use of openings in different ways.

For its part, the Israeli news website, Walla, reported, “the wounded Israeli soldier has entered a new stage of danger.”

According to the website, the sniper Barel Shmuel was admitted to the operating room at Soroka Hospital; For another urgent surgery after his condition deteriorated.
