“Guardians of the Mountain”: Beita will not calm down until the last caravan that the occupation placed is removed

Jerusalem24 – The Palestinians who call themselves the “Guardians of the Mountain” in the town of Beita, South of Nablus, stated that they will not calm down until the last caravan placed by the Israeli settlers at the top of Sabeih Mountain is removed.

During a press conference held yesterday evening, Sunday, they called on the world and human rights institutions to intervene urgently to stop the attacks against Beita and its people. Stressing “the continuation of their struggle until the restoration of their right to their lands, no matter what the sacrifices may be.”

They also added, “we will not stop for one moment in order to restore our right that was stolen by the Zionist criminal gangs.”

They added that the Israeli forces killed seven citizens, including two children from the town, and wounded more than three thousand citizens, most of them with live ammunition. More than 200 young people and children have been permanently disabled since the start of the popular resistance protests against the establishment of the Evyitar settlement outpost on the top of the mountain in last May.

The speakers at the conference denounced the international silence towards the actions the Israeli authorities practiced against the town of Beita.
