Settlers begin construction work in the vicinity of the Ain al-Hilweh spring in the northern Jordan Valley

Jerusalem24 – Last night, Israeli settlers began construction work in the vicinity of Ein El-Hilweh spring in the northern Jordan Valley. Moataz Basharat, the official in charge of the Jordan Valley file in Tubas Governorate, told Wafa that the settlers began construction work tonight after they brought building materials this morning.
The settlers also started fencing work in the vicinity of the spring yesterday, and prevented shepherds from reaching the area. It is noteworthy that the settlers took over the spring months ago and set up a park around it, preventing Palestinian shepherds from approaching the spring and watering their livestock, as the aforementioned area witnesses frequent attacks, and recently settlers planted trees in the vicinity of the spring completing their takeover.
