Rimon administration transfers 3 striking prisoners to Ayla

that 14 prisoners in the prisons of the Negev, Rimon, and Megiddo are continuing their hunger strike in protest of their administrative detention

Jerusalem24 – On Sunday evening, the Israeli prison administration transferred 3 prisoners on hunger strike from Rimon prison to the isolation of Ayla prison in Beer Sheba.

The Detainees and Former Detainees Affairs Committee said in a press statement, “The administration of Rimon Prison transferred the hunger-striking prisoners Guevara Al-Namoura, Mahmoud Al-Fasfous, and Raafat Al-Darawish, to the isolation of Ayla in Beer Sheba, after they were transferred from the isolation of Rimon prison.”

The Palestinian Prisoners Club confirmed in a press statement, that 14 prisoners in the prisons of the Negev, Rimon, and Megiddo are continuing their hunger strike in protest of their administrative detention. The longest strike was of the prisoner Salem Zaidat, who has been on strike for 14 days, in addition to Each of: Muhammad Munir Omar (12) days ago, Mujahid Hamid (12) days ago, Mahmoud Al-Fasfous, Kayed Al-Fasfus, Raafat Al-Darawish, Guevara Al-Namoura (11) days ago, Maher Dalaysha (6) days, Alaa Al-Din Ali, Fadi Al-Amour, Hussam Rabei, Ahmed Abdel-Rahman Abu Salem, and Muhammad Khaled Abu Sell have been on strike for (5) days, and the prisoner Ahmed Nazzal has also been on strike for (5) days.
