Israeli Cabinet to deduct funds from Palestinian Clearance – Again.

Israel will deduct 597 million shekels from the Palestinian Authorities' clearance house funds each month.

Jerusalem24 – Yesterday, Sunday, the Israeli Cabinet approved a report submitted by Israeli Defense Minister, Benny Gantz, proposing the deduction of funds from the Palestinian Authority’s clearinghouse that the latter transferred to the families of Palestinians killed and detained by Israel.

According to Israeli channel Seven, the report prepared by the economic authorities in the Ministry of the Defense, the Palestinian Authority transferred 597 million shekels during the year 2020, in favor of the families of Palestinians killed and detained by Israel, on the pretext that it is indirect support for “terrorism.”

The station indicated that after the decision is approved, those funds will be deducted every month from the clearing funds transferred to the Palestinian Authority.
