Settler violence escalating throughout the West Bank.
Settler violence has been on the rise since the beginning of 2021
Jerusalem24 – Yesterday, Monday, settler violence was on the rise as Israeli settlers across the West Bank attacked various Palestinian communities.
Israeli Settlers attacked the homes of Palestinians in the village of Susiya in the Masafer Yatta area, South of Hebron. This sparked clashes between the Palestinians in the village and the settlers who had attacked them. This resulted in several injuries among the residents of the village.
While in the village of Deir Qadis, West of Ramallah, Israeli settlers set up a settlement outpost. The settlers placed a tent outside the borders of a nearby settlement by 400 meters, igniting fears that the establishment of the outpost would be the beginning of expanding the settlement at the expense of the village’s lands.
Meanwhile, in the village of Jalud, South of Nablus, settlers cut down several fruit trees belonging to Palestinian farmers.
Settlers in the Jordan Valley, in the North, attacked Palestinian shepherds with sticks and stones. They also stole some of their livestock.
