
Jerusalem24 – Early this morning, Tuesday, around 40 vehicles and a bulldozer belonging to the Israeli forces entered the alBustan neighborhood in Silwan, in Jerusalem. The deadline for the people in Silwan who were threatened with expulsion from their homes has ended.

The Israeli forces heavily deployed into the neighborhood, and surrounded a commercial shop belonging to the alJabari family, while also closing off all entrances to the neighborhood.
As the Israeli forces entered the neighborhood, the local mosque began calling on the residents as the Israeli bulldozer began demolishing the shop. While some residents appeared, the Israeli forces quickly attacked them with rubber coated bullets and tear gas.
As of writing this, four people have been injured, 3 have suffocated from tear gas while the fourth was shot with a rubber coated steel bullet in the chest and was transferred to a hospital for treatment. A Palestinian journalist, Labeeb Jizmawi, was injured when a tear gas canister was fired at him; burning him.
