United Nations Security Council will begin an open session

The current Israeli aggression on the Palestinian territories is the topic of the session

Jerusalem24 – This Sunday morning, at ten o’clock Eastern Standard Time, the United Nations Security Council will hold an open public session with the participation of a large number of foreign ministers, including the Palestinian minister. The session comes after  pressure on the Security Council to convene.

In this context, the permanent representative of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, Minister Riyad Mansour, yesterday, Saturday, sent three identical messages to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the President of the Security Council for this month (China), and the President of the United Nations General Assembly, regarding the intensification of the existing force. With the Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip, the escalation of its attacks throughout the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the encouragement of attacks by settlers. Over 140 Palestinians, including 39 children and 22 women, More than 1,000 people, including 254 children, and many more were seriously injured, as a result of the Israeli military attacks on Gaza since May 11. In addition to the death of a total of 13 Palestinians in the West Bank at the hands of the Israeli military against civilian demonstrators.
