Sixteen deaths, 1051 new cases of coronavirus in Palestine in last 24 hours – Health Minister

147 patients are getting treatment in intensive care units, among them 41 are on ventilators

Jerusalem24 – Sixteen people have died of the coronavirus disease in Palestine in the last 24 hours and 1051 new cases were recorded as 1844 patients have recovered, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila in her daily report on coronavirus in Palestine.

She said 723 of the new cases, six of the deaths, and 1404 recoveries were in the Gaza Strip, while the West Bank recorded 10 deaths, 328 new cases, and 440 recoveries.

A total of 147 patients are getting treatment in intensive care units, among them 41 are on ventilators.

Alkaila said 218,821 people have been vaccinated for the disease in the West Bank compared to 36,781 in the Gaza Strip.
