Ibrahim Abu Hamed was assaulted by settlers last Monday

Jerusalem24 – Israeli police released Ibrahim Abu Hamed, late Tuesday evening. Israeli police arrested Abu Hamed last Monday, after settlers attacked him while he was working. The settlers surrounded him and assaulted him, as he tried to escape the attack he lost control of his vehicle and ran over one of the settlers who was killed.

Abu Hamed’s face showed signs of bruising and hits.

After the incident, Abu Hamed awoke in the hospital hand cuffed to the bed, accused of attacking the settlers. It wasn’t until his name was cleared that he was released by the Israeli courts.

Tens of Palestinians in Jerusalem Celebrated Abu Hamed’s release as he arrived at his home in Wadi al-Jouz in Jerusalem.
