Jerusalem24 – British Prince Harry and his American wife Megan Markle increased the audience’s dose of suspense before the awaited interview, with new leaks that increase the public’s desire to know what they have to say.
On March 7, the American “CBS” network will broadcast a lengthy interview by the famous American journalist, Oprah Winfrey, with the British prince and his wife.
It is the two’s first TV interviews since they left royal duties and bought a home in the United States last year.
Last year, Megan and Harry announced that they would step down from their royal duties and move to North America, explaining the decision by what they described as intolerable racist interventions and stances by the British media.
Sources reported to the British newspaper “The Sun” that Oprah Winfrey spent two days with the Prince and his wife to record the interview, noting that it took place on Wednesday and Thursday.
The sources added that Prince Harry chose not to inform the Queen of the content of the interview, which shocked her.
Winfrey prepared well for the interview, as she conducted her research at her home in Hawaii, before flying her private plane to California where she had a home.
The couple may have chosen Winfrey to interview them due to her good relationship with them, as she attended their wedding and was strongly supportive of their decision to leave Britain.
Sources reported to the “Sun” newspaper that the couple were comfortable in the interview with the famous American presenter, which gave the latter a deep insight into the nature of the dispute within the ruling family.
One source said the prime-time broadcast of the interview would give Meghan Markle a chance to regain her voice, which faded in the last year.
The interview will be comprehensive and cover everything, and will start with Markle “from entering into royal life, marriage, motherhood and charitable work to how she deals with life under intense public pressure.”
Later, Prince Harry joins the two and talks with him and Markle about their move to the United States and their hopes and dreams for the future of their growing family, “according to a statement by the American” CBS “network.
