Israel continues to demolish Palestinian homes and buildings
Scores of Palestinians left homeless
Jerusalem24 – Today, Thursday, the Israeli authorities demolished two homes under construction belonging to the Abu Arar family in Qalansaweh, specifically in the western part of the city. It is noteworthy that the demolition process, this morning, is the third for the Abu Arar family that lives in the Western Region (the Qalansawa Plain), as the Israeli authorities demolished the family’s home two years ago, and in 2017 they demolished facilities and a livestock barn.
It is noteworthy that the bulldozers of the Israeli authorities demolished a house belonging to the Abu Samhadana family in the village of Umm Bateen. A caravan house and another building belonging to the Abu Siyam family in the city of Rahat, and a house in the village of Al-Zarnouq. They also demolished the homes of the residents of Al-Araqib village who are now displaced in the Negev region, in the south of the country.
It should be noted that the Palestinian towns on the other side of the green line witnessed an escalation in the demolition of homes, shops, and industrial workshops under the pretext of non-licensing. This had happened in Ein Mahal, Jaffa, Shafa Amr, Kafr Qasim, Qalansawa, Kafr Yasif, Arara, Umm al-Fahm, Lod, Jaffa, Sakhnin, Hurfeish, Arab towns in the Negev, and others.
