Palestinian Health Ministry announces 139 cases of British Corona virus variant
The new variant has affected entire families, including children.
Jerusalem24 – The Palestinian Health Ministry, today Tuesday, the discovery of 139 new cases of the British Corona virus variant. The also called on the Palestinian citizens to maintain safety and health procedures, as Corona quarantine centers as well as intensive care units are all full.
Osama Najjar, head of the Medical Support Services at the Palestinian Health Ministry, spoke on the “New Day” radio show broadcast on Palestine radio that the Ministry discovered the new cases late last night on Monday. He stressed that this variant has affected entire families, including children. Najjar stated that, “The Palestinian Health Ministry is closely following the situation of the British, South African and Brazilian variants of the virus.”
He also pointed out that the scientific studies confirm the effectiveness of the vaccines on the Corona virus as well as the new variants. Hoping that the vaccine arrives soon to provide it to the Palestinian people to protect them from this virus.
