Jerusalem24 – Israeli authorities anounced the confiscation of 19 dunums of privately owned lands in the Qalqilya governorate. The lands belonged to Palestinians in the Western Valley area, west of the Beit Amin village. The confiscation was done with the aim to construct new settlement units to be added to the Oranit settlement that is built the region.
Mohammad Abu Al Shekih, the Palestinian official monitoring Israeli settlements in the Qalqilya governorate, stated that the Israeli Civil Administration published maps that include the lands of Palestinians living in the villages of Sineria and Azoun Al Itma. Al Sheikh also declared that this decision will be legally followed with the aim to sue and cancel this decision.
