Jerusalem24 – The US Food and Drug Administration released a list of 12 side effects that people receiving the Pfizer Bionic virus vaccine may face, as the vaccine begins to be distributed in the country.
Britain, the first country in the world to distribute the vaccine, last week, had reported allergic reactions, after vaccinating a number of people with the vaccine, a symptom that was previously unknown.
As a result, authorities in the United States and Britain called for people who suffer from severe allergies to avoid receiving the vaccine.
Noting that, the authorities in America and Britain approved the use of the Pfizer Biontech vaccine, after it showed efficacy of 95% in clinical trials.
The chief infectious disease expert in the United States, Anthony Fauci, reassured the Americans that so far no serious symptoms related to the safety of the vaccine have been recorded.
For more reassurance, the Food and Drug Administration published an official list of side effects, indicating that the vaccine, which is given in two doses, 3 weeks apart, provides protection for an unknown period.
No serious symptoms have yet been reported, and we must always remember the great benefit of receiving the vaccine to tolerate its side effects, which are as follows:
- Pain at the site of the injection (in the arm).
- Swelling and redness at the injection site.
- High temperature, may reach over 40.
- Exhaustion.
- Headache.
- Muscle pain.
- The possibility of getting chills.
- Pain in the joints.
- Feeling sick.
- Malaise in the body, which is evidence of the effectiveness of the immune system.
- Enlarged lymph nodes.
- Little chance of severe allergic reactions.
