“Nothing is surprising about these results”
It appears that Netanyahu has made the dramatic comeback he strived for.

Jerusalem24 – The latest results from this round of elections show former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is on trial for charges of corruption which he denies, leading the bloc which will head the next government.
Senior Palestine Correspondent at Mondoweiss, Mariam Barghouti, shared her input on the Knesset election results with Jerusalem24.
With 95% of the votes already counted, it appears that opposition leader Netanyahu’s bloc of four parties will take 65 of the Knesset’s 120 seats. Many political analysts have commented this will be the most extreme far-right government in Israel’s history.
“I don’t think anything is surprising about these results. This is the fifth election since 2019. With Netanyahu seeming to be leading, it’s an emphasis on a dictatorship by democracy within the Israeli political sphere,” says Barghouti.
Barghouti believes that for Palestinians, it’s the same – whether its Bennett, Ben-Gvir, or Netanyahu: “It’s just a mask for their crimes.”
