Israeli investigation finds 21-year-old Al-Sharif died of a heart attack

Jerusalem24– The results of an Israeli investigation into the death of 21-year-old Walid al-Sharif, a resident of Beit Hanina in occupied Jerusalem who was detained by Israeli forces after being injured and denied first-aid for 20 minutes, claimed that he died of a heart attack.

According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, the investigation concluded medically documented results that Al-Sharif died after suffering a heart attack that led to his falling to the ground inside Al-Aqsa Square during the events.

The investigation indicates that Al-Sharif did not show any signs of being hit by any bullet and that he had suffered a heart attack. The report stated that he was hit in the brain until his death.

The report said police sought to have Al-Sharif’s body examined at the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute in Tel Aviv, but the family rejected the request.
