General Strike in West Bank Cities

Jerusalem24 – Today, Thursday, a general strike took place in the governorates of Ramallah, Al-Bireh, and Bethlehem, mourning the Palestinians slain by Israel, and denouncing the recent Israeli aggression.

The strike included all aspects of commercial life and the public and private sectors, including educational institutions in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate.

WAFA reported that the Fatah movement in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh region announced in a statement the general strike and general mobilization, after the incursions, assassinations and arrests that took place last night in the Jenin governorate and its camp, the city of Nablus, and the towns of Silwad, Kobar and Husan, and the killing of Omar Muhammad Alyan (20 years), from the town of Silwad northeast of Ramallah, Muhammad Hassan Assaf (34 years), from the village of Kafr Laqif in Qalqilya, and the child Qusay Hamamra (14 years), from the town of Husan in Bethlehem.

They also reported that in Bethlehem, a general strike took place in the governorate, at the invitation of the Faction Coordination Committee, to mourn the child Hamamra.
