Israel targets Palestinian workers who lack permits.
Jerusalem24 – Today, Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun grenades and other “tear gas” bombs toward the openings of the wall and gaps in the security fence along the seam line in several areas of the West Bank.
According to local sources, the occupation forces deployed along the line of contact attacked the workers with bombs and tried to arrest a number of them.
The firing of bombs was more concentrated at the openings of the wall in the town of Faroun, and Khirbet Jbara on the line of contact between Tulkarm and Israel.
Meanwhile, south of Hebron, a worker suffered burns as Israeli forces chased him and others at the Mitar checkpoint near Al-Dhahiriya. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Sources reported that Israel’s forces have been preventing the entry of workers through openings in the separation barrier.
Workers without work permits take advantage of these openings and loopholes to get inside in search of their livelihood.
