Two dead and 15 injured as Israel storms Jenin Refugee Camp.

The condition of three of the injured were described as serious

Jerusalem24 – Israeli forces stormed the Jenin refugee camp this morning leaving 2 Palestinians killed and 15 others injured in the ensuing clashes.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of health, 17-year-old Sanad Abu Aita and 23-year-old Yazid Al-Saadi died of critical wounds caused by the Israeli forces.

The ministry also stated that 15 others were wounded, 14 of them shot with live ammunition and suffocated from tear gas. 3 of the injuries were described as serious.

The statement by the ministry also reported that the tear gas fired by the Israeli forces in the vicinity of the Jenin Governmental Hospital entered the emergency department.

Local sources reported that the Israeli forces arrested a young man and failed to arrest Suhaib Mer’i, the alleged target of the raid.

Eyewitnesses said that the armed clashes erupted in the city and the camp when the Israeli forces stormed the area.

The Israeli Ynet website reported that an Israeli soldier was slightly wounded in the raid.

Witnesses indicated that special forces and a large group of Israeli soldiers surrounded the camp, with snipers on several rooftops.
