Settler opens fire on Palestinian school.

Jerusalem24 – Today, Sunday, a settler opened fire at the Al-Khansa Elementary School for Boys, in the town of Taqu`, east of Bethlehem.

The Administrative Manager of the Education Directorate in Bethlehem, Bassam Jaber, reported that a settler got off a bus carrying a group of settlers, and opened fire at the school as students were in their classrooms; causing panic and fear.

He added that the settler returned with another group of settlers, who remained in the vicinity of the school.

In a later development, Jabr confirmed that female students from the fifth grade and above in the Al-Jarmaq Basic Schools for Girls and Al-Khansa’a were evacuated for their own safety.
