Wake-Up Palestine: Phase 2 of Local Elections

Jerusalem24 – Last December of 2021, Central Election Commission announced the results of the first phase of the Palestinian Local Elections. Those are the elections for localities in the Palestinian territories, ranging from village councils to municipalities.

The first phase of elections saw a turnout of over 66% of the 405,687 eligible voters in 154 localities.

Earlier this week, the CEC announced that the preliminary register of electoral lists for the second and final phase of the local elections scheduled for March 26, 259 electoral lists will be competing in 73 West Bank localities out of a total of 101 localities.
