Israel stops the transferring of the Iron Dome to Ukraine

Out of fear of a tension with Moscow

Jerusalem24 – Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported today, Tuesday, that Israel decided to stop the transfer of the “Iron Dome” system to Ukraine, to prevent entering into the risk of a confrontation with Russia, while the Israeli Defense Ministry later denied receiving any request in this regard.

According to the newspaper, Israel is doing everything so as not to find itself in the middle of events between the West and Ukraine on the one hand, and Russia on the other, after it found itself last year in a complicated situation in light of Kiev’s desire to own the Iron Dome system for use in the face of any missile attacks.

The newspaper added that the ukranian asked the USA to provide it with the Iron Dome system, but such weapons could put Israel in severe crisis with Moscow, amid the tension in the area which could escalate to a Russian invasion, according to western evaluations.
