Wake Up Palestine – Palestine’s Take on the Amnesty International Report

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs comments on Amnesty's report

Jerusalem24 – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the report conducted by Amnesty International that further exposed Israel’s practice of Apartheid against Palestinians.

Dr. Omar Awadallah, the Assistant Minister of United Nations & Specialized Agencies, said that the State of Palestine submitted a complaint against Israel in the Committee of Eliminating All Forms of Racial Discrimination.

The Amnesty International report will be taken by the Palestinians to the Committee on how Israel is building a racist regime.

Awadallah also explained the role of the International Criminal Court, and how the prosecutor is investigating war crimes and not crimes of Humanity. He also called on the importance of the international community taking action against Israel such as sanctions, embargoes, and stopping all trade with illegal settlements.

Awadallah also said that the State of Palestine will be working in the UN General Assembly, Security Council, and the Human Rights Council.
