Palestinian President awards Freedom Star to Roman Catholic Priest

The Star of Freedom is awarded to Palestinian and foreign activists who are working for peace

 

Jerusalem24 – The Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas awarded the Roman Catholic archimandrite of the Archdiocese of Jerusalem Abdullah Daniel Julio the Star of Freedom of the Order of the State of Palestine.

The Palestinian Prime Minister and several members of the PLO Executive and the Fateh Central Committees were present.

Abbas awarded Julio the star in appreciation of his struggle for Palestinian rights, as well as his efforts supporting non-violent Palestinian resistance and supporting the Palestinian demands for their independence and freedom.

The Star of Freedom is awarded to Palestinian and foreign activists who are working for peace, as well to Members of Parliaments, Representatives of Parties who support the freedom and independence of the State of Palestine.
