Israeli settlers set up new outpost on Palestinian lands
The outpost extends the lands seized by the Yitzhar settlement, southwest of Nablus
Jerusalem24 – Israeli settlers set up a new outpost on the lands of the village of Burin, southwest of Nablus. The outpost acts as an extension of the Yitzhar settlement, which was built on the lands of Burin and a number of other neighboring villages.
Residents of the village said that in recent days, settlers have installed a number of caravans at the site at the foot of the mountain on which the settlement is established, while the leveling work continues there.
The Director General of Documentation at the Settlement and Wall Resistance Commission, Qassem Awad, confirmed that the bulldozing operation at the site includes 50 dunums at the foot of the mountain, and that it threatens to seize more lands in the area.
