Residents of the village said that in recent days, settlers have installed a number of caravans at the site at the foot of the mountain on which the settlement is established, while the leveling work continues there.

The Director General of Documentation at the Settlement and Wall Resistance Commission, Qassem Awad, confirmed that the bulldozing operation at the site includes 50 dunums at the foot of the mountain, and that it threatens to seize more lands in the area.
