Ramon prison closed after two guards were suspected of being infected with Corona

25 cases of COVID19 in Negev Prison

Jerusalem24 – Today, Sunday, the Prisoner’s Club reported that the administration of Ramon prison had completely closed the prison. The closure comes after it was suspected that there were cases of COVID19 among the prison guards.

On Friday, the Prisoners’ Club reported the presence of coronavirus infections among the prisoners in the “Al-Maabar” sections in which prisoners are held in the Ofer detention camp, west of Ramallah.

Before that, the club talked about the increase in the number of infections among prisoners with the “Corona” virus in section 25 of the “Negev” prison to 25 cases, noting that the prison contains about 55 prisoners.
