Israel demolishes village in Negev

Al-Araqib has been demolished 196 times

Jerusalem24 – Today, Monday, the Israeli authorities demolished the de-recognized village of Al-Araqib in the Negev for the 196th time in a row since the year 2000.

This demolition is the 14th time since the beginning of 2021, and comes less than a month after it was demolished the last time, on the 24th of November.

The Israeli mechanisms carried out the demolition process, despite the stormy and rainy weather, displacing dozens of families and leaving them without shelter.

This demolition process is part of a series of violations faced by the people of the Negev, as the Israeli authorities launched a fierce campaign against them, from demolishing homes, raiding campaigns and bulldozing agricultural lands with the aim of uprooting the Negev people from their lands.
